Bodies of two Bristol soldiers returned for burial
The remains of Pvt Jacob Osofsky and First Lt Louis J Romano, World War II casualties, were transported to Rhode Island aboard the Army Transport Robert Burns and are set for military funeral services. Osofsky, 26, of 20 Catherine Street, will be buried in Lincoln Park Cemetery Providence and Romano will be honored at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with burial at St Mary’s Cemetery.
