Tiverton Grist Mill Parts Recovered For State Exhibit
Tiverton Four Corners residents aided state officials in assembling a reconstructable grist mill for the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield. Lieutenant Albert Judge and Officer Maurice Caputte coordinated with Lloyd Lawton to gather millstones, frame, hopper, sifter, and arm from the Lawton properties, with Mr Lawton providing rare expertise and cooperation.
