Clam Bake and Mock Trial Highlight Rhode Island Holstein Event
More than 350 attended the Rhode Island Holstein Fresian Association gathering at the Soldiers' Home grounds. Prof Frederick N Strickland presided after the bake, with Allen Crissey and Prof Frandsen presenting on pure bred cattle, dairy production, and tb eradication. A mock trial compared a pure bred Holstein bull to a scrub bull, featuring local officials and experts.
