Fatal head on collision on Totfisset road
A 13 year old girl Mary Bryant Moriarty of Fall River was killed instantly in a two car crash on the Totfisset road near South Swansea depot. Her mother Mrs Mabel W Moriarty and others were seriously injured. The other car owned by Abraham Tickozen carried seven people who escaped uninjured.

Stanzione Held On Threat to Assault Lumber Driver
Saturday Stanzione long familiar to the Fifth District Court was arrested by Chief Dwyer on a charge of threatening to assault Bartley Keegan, a Wardwell Lumber driver. After chasing Keegan on Wood Street the defendant displayed a knife and threatened to kill. Arraigned before Justice Brady, he pleaded not guilty and the case was continued to the Fifth District Court with bail posted by Carlo Simioli.

G F Brown Woman's Relief Corps of Providence visited the Soldiers' Home on Wednesday with about 30 members arriving by automobile. Captain Benjamin L. Hall welcomed them. They presented gifts of tobacco fruit and confections, toured the grounds, and offered an entertainment in Recreation Hall before departing about four o'clock.
