Hydraulions Return From Grand Rockland Visit

Hydraulion Engine and Hose Company members returned to Bristol after a week of lavish hospitality in Rockland Maine hosted by Americus Hook and Ladder. Foreman W H Coggeshall brought a gift Angora goat mascot presented by Rockland’s Americus company. Rockland Thomaston and Warren fire crews united to escort the Hydraulions to the wharf as bands played and thanks were offered for a record setting visit filled with generous entertainment and lasting fraternal relations.

Eagles Clambake Showcases Bristol Aerie Talent

Rhode Island society notes Bristol Aerie No. 9538 Fraternal Order of Eagles hosted a clambake at Gooding's grove. The event featured a charity-style day with a baseball game, chowder served by Jimmie Walsh and Sam Hackley, and a group photo by Frank Clark. Fathered by James Walsh committee, the outing included athletic events, songs, and speeches by Eagles from Bristol and nearby lodges with guests from Quincy Baltimore and Warren.
