Prudence Island Union Church Service Grows Largest Yet
Held at the Homestead Casino on Prudence Island each Sunday, the church service draws larger crowds with extra seats and many standing in the rear. Byron Hudson sang a tenor solo while Miss Emily Bance spoke about her two years in Alaska, and offerings for the church reach new highs as fundraising and incorporation efforts proceed with named committees and pledges reaching about 150 participants for the August return.
