German and Allied Moves Across Fronts Reported
German forces pursue Russians along the Radzyn Viadova road and capture a northern Novo Georgievsk outpost with about 1800 men and four machine guns. Artillery duels and attacks occur across the Argonne, Yser, Lorraine, and Vosges regions as Austro-Hungarians push toward Brest Litovsk and Russian offensives continue in Riga. In Armenia the Russians seize Kara Derbent crest and a Turkish transport column, while Dardanelles fighting near Ari Burnu yields prisoners. Pan American peace efforts in Mexico are expected to be announced soon by Washington.

Bristol Residents Seek Bonded Repair Plan for Gibson Road
At a Bristol Improvement Association meeting Edward R. Cutler named a committee to work with Bristol Town Council president B F Lindemuth and others on Gibson road in Bristol Highlands. A $1000 appropriation exists but is intended for repairs not a full pavement. Residents propose appointing Highlands residents to supervise road building and use the funds plus additional subscriptions to complete a substantial road rather than risk unexpended balances.
