The Sunday School of St. Michael's Church enjoyed a picnic on the grounds of Dr and Mrs George A Lung in Pappoosesquaw. About 150 children attended after a short service at 9 30 and left in six to eight autos at 10 15. Prizes were awarded in multiple races and games with children from 150 participating, returned home around 5 30.

Obituary of Bernard Miles Former driver and factory worker
Bernard Miles died yesterday forenoon at 104 on street after months of poor health. He leaves a wife Eleanor Grabert and daughter Catherine Miles. A lifelong resident of the town for about 25 years he worked as a driver and in Nar Ragansett Rubber and National India Rubber. He was 53 and a former King Philip Fire Company member. Funeral Saturday at St Marys Church with mass at 9 and burial in North Cemetery.
