Fatal Bristol saloon shooting leaves Renda dead
Francisco Randa died from a single bullet wound after a late night duel at Luigi Malafronte saloon at Wood and Bradford. Antone Oliveira was shot in the left hip. Ferdinand Vaccaro and Dominick DeMarra exchanged shots, DeMarra was arrested, Vaccaro escaped. Witnesses noted Vaccaro fled town after arranging a car out of Providence. Renda’s autopsy showed bullets pierced both lungs, six shots fired in all. Chirello was fined for assaulting an officer amid the crowd. Giovanni Bona faced charges for carrying a concealed weapon after claiming revenge for Renda. DeMarra arraigned for violent assault. bail set.
