Bordens Edge Bristols In Eleven Inning Narrow Win
In an 11 inning contest the M D C Bordens of Fall River beat the Bristols 7 to 6 on the Common. Clark pitched for Bristol until the fifth, then Bordens pulled ahead with key hits by Gainan Van and Tucker. Ellison scored twice for the Hordens and Tucker, Guinan, and Tilson starred in late innings. The visitors used strong fielding and timely hitting to clinch the win in the eleventh as Ellison and Clark drove in runs after two extra frames. The Bristols rallied briefly but came up short.
