A campaign for a new building at the Women’s College Brown University began last winter to provide a proper auditorium with a permanent stage and alumnae offices. Undergraduates pledged over 18 000 with strong support across classes and a graduate drive spans 20 districts led by a three member committee plus college leadership.

Edwin S. Godfrey was re elected president for the fourth year at the Bristol Highlands Improvement Association annual meeting and officer election held Wednesday night at Godfrey's home. Samuel C.
