The Bristol Troop of Girl Scouts attended a field day at Barrington last Saturday with four council members present Mrs Mathewson Mrs Gray Mrs Sanford and Mrs Holt A troop member carried the flag and won the introduction game After lunch each troop sang a song Bristol troop was judged best and also won relay and potato races.

People of Bristol are urged to attend the First Grand Carnival featuring Miss Lillian Evangeline Johnson’s group of dancers and entertainers from Providence. The Male s Club promotes a high class program with radio music and acts by Miss Evelyn Guertin Master Francis Sampson and others at venues including the Albee Theatre and Rhodes last Monday evening.
