Mount Hope Shoe Company, funded by Ralph Refson and partners Harold Waterman and Abraham Levine, will begin Bristol operations within a fortnight. The firm will operate in the Bristol Manufacturing Company basement, employ about 30, and mirror styles from the former New England Shoe Company.
