The Independence Day executive committee led by Dr. Alfred M. Merriman maps a two day program. Events include an antiques and horribles parade a late night bonfire a free open air dance and a grand military firemen and civic parade the 10 15 a m parade patriotic exercises at Reynolds school a 2 4 p m band concert and a closing pyrotechnic display with a historical pageant at 8 p m organized by Miss Mary E Spooner with various groups expected to participate. Detailed plans will be finalized at a sub committee chairmen meeting next Thursday at the Hotel Belvedere.
