Funeral of Sandolo Morra Held at Our Lady of Mt Carmel
The funeral of Sandolo Morra was held this morning at 8:15 from Sansone Funeral Home on State street, followed by a high requiem Mass at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. Morra died Wednesday at his brother’s Bristol home after a three day illness. he was born in Scafati Italy on Sept 14 1870 and came to this country in 1904. He worked for National India Rubber Company until retirement in 1923. He is survived by a daughter Angela and several siblings. Burial was in St Mary’s Cemetery.

The Junior Mounties Club of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church organized a Sunday bicycle hike and picnic to Rumstick Point in Barrington land owned by the CYO under Rev. Emilio Donanzan club advisor. A Tuesday meeting featured a dessert for Frank Marabello. Mary Evelyn Hartranft of Burton Street Norwood died Wednesday in Norwich Conn. funeral arrangements filed.
