Emile R LaFontaine of Warren and Manuel Medeiros of Portsmouth received 15 year pins at a Coast Guard depot ceremony. Roman A Kreher and CH Frank Campagna presented the honors with Lt Normen P Ensrud and other officers and sailors present. LaFontaine served in the Army then Civilian, including Newport Naval Torpedo Station, while Medeiros served three years in the Army and a Newport depot stint before joining the local unit eleven years ago.
