Two Bristol Boys Killed in East Hartford Auto Crash
Two Bristol youths John Francis Walsh and Joseph Bernard Walsh died after a July auto crash in East Hartford Connecticut. Providence College students were returning from New Haven when the semi enclosed Mormon automobile collided with a trolley car. John and Joseph Walsh, siblings of James J. Walsh Bristol Town Council president, died of internal injuries and a skull fracture respectively. Dozens of students and local officials attended the mass and burial with mourning bands worn by all Providence College students. The Bristol Town Council adopted a resolution of sympathy to the Walsh family.
