Thirteen delegates and thirteen alternates were chosen at Rhode Island Republican conventions in Providence. Delegates urged support for Calvin Coolidge at the National Convention. Fifth District Court Hears Tire Theft and Nuisance Plea
In a weekly Fifth District Court session, Alvaro Silvia was adjudged probably guilty of stealing auto tires worth 150 dollars from George Ellis’s garage on March 25 and bound over to the Grand Jury after waiving reading of a warrant. Bail set at 700 dollars. Frank Marks, accused proprietor of the Church Street House, pleaded not guilty to maintaining a nuisance and the case was continued two weeks.

Returning to Bristol Angevines plan permanent home on Lawless estate

Thursday evening at 6 30 the Bristol Y M C A hosts a men’s supper in Rockwell Hall. Mrs Edward I Cooper presided at a Bristol Unit meeting held at her High Street home. The group voted to support the state drive starting May 5 to add 2000 members, setting Bristol's quota at 32. Reports from Miss M W Wyatt, Mrs E I Cooper, Miss A W Bourn and Miss E B Bache covered the School of Political Education at Brown University last weekend. Regular meetings will be held at Mrs Cooper's home on the first Monday evening each month.
