Collins & Aikman Corporation wins the YMCA bowling league cup for the 1930 31 season. They led Cocoanuts by a wide margin with 63 strings bowled to 60. A silver team cup will be awarded at a Mt Hope Diner supper next week. Babe Ethier earns three individual cups for high single, high three string total, and an overall season award.

Restoration Work Underway at Ferry Landing Point
The southerly end of Ferrycliffe Farm, once hosting Newport and Providence Railway ferry service to Rhode Island, is being restored since the Mount Hope Bridge opened in 1929.
