An early morning fire alarm at 3 50 for District No 10 was caused by a slaked lime barrel in the Rohrman residence cellar on Mt Hope avenues. Heavy rain had saturated the cellar, lime smoked, and alerted the Rohrman family. Fire companies went part way then returned after assessing the situation. New beets cucumbers asparagus rhubarb new cabbage lettuce spinach and radishes were listed among produce.
