Elihu G Smith formerly of this town died in Barrington aged 75. A Middletown native, he shipped as seafaring youth and worked many years at the National India Rubber Company. He was vestryman at Trinity church and a member of United Brothers Lodge IOOF. widower with two daughters. Manuel Silva aged 16 died today at his mother's home after a long pulmonary illness. he belonged to the Divino Espiritu Sancto Society and his funeral is Thursday afternoon.
