In Brimfield township a quiet election produced 188 ballots with sitting judges reelected. Joseph E Daily received 132 votes, Henry J Ingram 129, John M Niehaus 1. Convention delegate ballot favored ratification 174 to 64.

Emma Latinia Cramer born August 31 1934 in Farmington Illinois died June 1 1933 at home aged 78 years 9 months 2 days. She married Frank Claypool February 183A and lived in Brimfield Deer Creek Laura before returning to Brimfield. Survived by husband Effie Blust and grand son Estine Blust. three children born one died in infancy and Guy died 1932. Burial in Brimfield cemetery.
Walter Morrissey, 79, of Princeville, died suddenly at home on South Walnut Street Sunday morning May 29 from acute dilation of the heart. Born April 12, 1854 in Kilkenny county Ireland he married Annastasia Holden in 1833 and moved to the United States. Survived by wife Anna, children John Cheever William Francis Anna Kelly and Mary, sister Anastasia and brother Thomas, plus many grandchildren. Funeral at St Mary of the Woods Catholic church with interment at St Marys Cemetery Princeville.
Thomas Dwyer Sr 73 died Sunday at St Francis Hospital Peoria. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at 3 Joseph's Church. He was associated with his nephew Thomas Dwyer at Pekin Army Store and is survived by brother Dennis Dwyer of Oak Hill and three sisters Mrs James Ryan Peoria Mrs Ed Wolford Webster City Iowa and Mrs Kate Bobdin Springfield.
