Lutheran Church outlines Sunday School at 10 a m and preaching at 10 30 a m Bible Class and Christian Endeavor. First and Third Tuesdays 7 00 p m. Benry Tranb pastor.
The Methodist Episcopal Church holds a Sunday morning service at nine o'clock with a United Church end church school service. All are invited to attend the entire worship. The pastor, Fred Reed, will preach a Christmas sermon.
Sunday services on December 19 include 8:00 and 10:00 masses. Catechism classes meet Saturday at 2 30 P M. Christmas Masses on December 25 at 6 00 and 10 00. A Mass in Williamsfield is at 8 30. Father Thomas C Garrison is pastor.
The University of Cite will hold its final meeting at Lacon next Sunday evening. All young people who wish to go should meet at the parsonage at 2.30 for an early start. Rev. Ernest Akin northern area director will be there as guest. The second of four special day offerings for benevolences will be taken next Sunday morning in Church School. The Christmas program by the Church School will be given Thursday evening December 23. David Todd, Pastor.
The Catholic Daughters of America hold meetings in the club room of the Community Building on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month. Regent Bara Reed and Historian Nellie Carroll are named officers.
The M. W. A. Cacp No. 847 meets at the club room of the Community Building every other Tuesday evening. Leader Vv. C. Rudolph Savage and H. B. Bowman serve as clerk.
Royal Neighbors camp No 203 R N A meets on the first and third Wednesday afternoons each month in the Community Building. Oracle Eva Clark serves as Recorder and Carrie Arber is listed.
The W R C will hold meetings at 2 35 PM at the home of Mrs Frank Hamilton. President Mary Sollenberg er and Secretary Pearl Schenck are listed for the group.
