Girl, 14, Becomes Mother of Twins in New York
A 14-year-old New York girl, Beatrice Pierce, gave birth to twin daughters at New York hospital. Officials could not recall a younger twin birth in the city. Beatrice is married to Arthur Pierce, 21, a packer for Addressograph-Multigraph of Teeterboro, New Jersey. The couple lives with Arthur’s parents in Manhattan. The twins weighed a combined 14 pounds 4 ounces.
