Railroad Worker Killed In Bridge Wreck Near Shelton
Stevenson Ct Oct 1 A New York New Haven and Hartford freight train wreck occurred near this station during a storm. Andrew Manigni of Shelton, a section man, was killed crossing a trestle while aiding wreck cleanup. Wind may have caused his fall. His body found in the roadway twenty feet from the trestle. The derailment and wreck blocked line between Botsford and Shelton overnight. Cars damaged little.
