Aviator Killed in Hartford Crash

Hartford, Conn. Oct 3 Lieutenant Arthur C. Wagner of Weyburn Saskatchewan was killed when a plane crashed on the Dartford Golf Club course. Lieutenant Commander William Corry Jr. of the Atlantic fleet aviation section was severely injured with two broken ribs. Corry helped drag Wagner from the flames before an ambulance arrived. Wagner died at 9:19 p.m. tonight in hospital, while Corry remained in serious condition. Witnesses assisted at the scene and an insurance official and a golf club employee aided before medical help arrived.
