London November 12 report states the former German crown prince was shot, Amsterdam dispatch to Central News, details unavailable.
London dispatches report Germany warns of seizure of Helgoland if arms are not surrendered. A supplementary armistice note states allied right to occupy Helgoland as an advance base if six battle cruisers ten battleships eight light cruisers and fifty destroyers remain undelivered due to mutiny. A German radio message to naval crews urges defense against what it calls unprecedented presumption.
Colonel Wilson and Lieutenant Governor lead Bridgeport victory parade set for 2 p.m. with two divisions forming from State Guard units. Cornelius Purr of 867 Brewster Street tried to crowd into a packed jitney last night and was hurled to the street, injuring his ankle and abrasions on his right leg. He received emergency hospital care and was sent home. William Merwin of 65 Park Street wandered near Main Street and Wheeler Avenue at 9 pm, was picked up by an ambulance, examined by Dr. Burns, and had a hat chase prior to pickup. he was intoxicated and claimed he was rolled during the night. Walter Mude of 139 Cleveland Avenue went to the emergency hospital at eight oclock claiming a brick strike to the nose left a gash. Dr. Burns treated him and he was discharged. Dr. M. Garlick was notified and arranged removal of the body to local undertakers Cuffman Mullins Buckley. Thomas Kelly of Newark and N Mey suffered lacerations from a fall from an auto truck at Stine and Main as a celebratory crowd rode. Kelly was treated and sent home. Charles Nichols of 27 Ogden Street and Fred Forbes of the same address were injured around 6 30 oclock at Andover Street and Fairfield Avenue when their car upset while attempting to avoid a jitney. The car struck a sidewalk and rolled over. Hugh Chirk of 979 Madison Avenue was crossing at Middle Street and Fairfield Avenue.
