The Bridgeport Gas Light Company withdraws the 50 cent monthly service charge, switching to a per thousand cubic feet rate structure. Rates range from 12 to 16 cents per 100 cubic feet with a 50 cent minimum for small users, effective July 1 1921, and a 2 percent surcharge for late payments.
