Moralities units urged to clean Revere districts
Boston May 12 The Suffolk county grand jury was asked by Revere Mayor John E Walsh to assist in cleaning up the city. He cited conditions similar to the brickbottom district raid last Saturday led by state police under Middlesex DA Charles O'Brien that resulted in 46 arrests for violation of the state prohibition law. The mayor testified that immoral resorts flourish and police are allied with rum runners, and he urged protection for Revere's many school children while the grand jury pledged support.
