Action on Plaza Project Delayed by Alder Committee
At the Alder Streets and Sidewalks committee meeting last night no definite action was taken on a trolley station and comfort station for the Plaza. Plans were discussed and deferred, with opposition to bearing the full cost. The panel ordered further study and set actions for future meetings while approving Orland street as a 45 foot city street and authorizing paving on Reservoir avenue and Sylvan avenue near Edward Hallen school. Sidewalks were ordered on the east side of Main street from Beechwood avenue to the city limits.
