Prohibition Agent Holt Injured In Stamford Auto Crash
Stamford July 4 special to the Telegram James Holt prohibition enforce ment agent with Bridgeport was run down by an automobile at West Main and Richmond Hill avenue and critically injured. He sat on the running board of his own car when struck by John J Huck Jr of Bridgeport. Huck was arrested on intoxication and reckless driving charges after the crash. Holt suffered internal injuries a deep gash over the forehead a broken leg and severe lacerations. A girl passenger in the Huck car was questioned at the police station.

Lordship Trolley Superintendent Held After Albany Shooting
Roger Morehouse superintendent of the Lordship street-car barns is jailed on assault with intent to kill after firing at Joseph Holez a waiter at 210 Read Street. Holez was critically wounded two bullets struck him and a third bullet hit the restaurant wall. Morehouse was found at the Hoflister car barn and claimed the revolver held blanks.
