Mrs. Sarah Backus Quigley, wife of Rev Dr Charles A Quigley, pastor of Summerfield Methodist Church, died at Bridgeport Hospital after collapsing at Seaside Park while watching bathers. She suffered from Brights disease and died about 4 20 pm. The family planned a West vacation. she handed her 16 month old son to her sister in law Mae Quigley before losing consciousness. The couple married June 29 1914 in Jersey City. they had two children, Paul.
