Barnums Voice to Be Heard At Museum This Weekend
The Barnum voice recording will be played at the museum this weekend at set hours. Curator Kenneth Holmes says the Edison disc captures Barnum speaking with a British flavor, recorded around 149 years ago. The 78 rpm record also features Yale’s Billie Phelps recalling his boyhood with the Barnum and Bailey circus, but not a regular exhibit due to fragility during transport.
