James Duya 44 of Monroe was shot twice and wounded at Main street near Porter street after a dispute with Frank R. Giordano 50 of Trumbull. Duya was treated at St. Vincent's hospital for a left shoulder wound. Giordano was arrested on assault with intent to kill and carrying a pistol without a permit. bail set at 10,000.
