Police are searching for three vehicles reported stolen in the city last night. Meyer Dudowitz of 526 Norman Street says his car was taken from the corner of State Street and West Avenue. Mitchell Fitzgerald of 88 Miller Avenue Milford reports his car disappeared from Garden Street. Arthur Burke of 50 Chandra Drive says his car in front of Stratfield Motor Inn vanished around 9 p.m.
Pp. Francini & Co. of Waterbury secured a 2.7 million dollar contract to construct Holy Cross High School in Waterbury. The new Catholic high school is slated to open in fall 1968.
James Demarais of 185 Marina Drive Stratford reported to Bridgeport police that his diamond ring valued at 800 dollars was stolen from his locker at Carpenter Steel Sunday. The locker was broken into between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on that day.

Stratford resident Sylvia Minsch, 82, was knocked to the sidewalk by a gust while walking on Main Street near Golden Hill in Bridgeport. She suffered a cut above the left eye and a dislocated shoulder and was taken to Bridgeport Hospital in City ambulance in "good" condition according to hospital officials. The incident occurred in front of 1178 Main Street.
