Woman Dies in Stratford Fire at Duplex Kitchen

Fire in a Stratford duplex kitchen at 1 30 a m killed Sandra Bargo as fire crews from Stratford respond. Kennedy escaped through a window after awakening Bargo and carrying her to safety, but she perished from third degree burns and asphyxia. Fire officials planned an investigation.
