Blizzard Hits Upstate New York Stalling Roads and Homes

Bronx Airman Aims For Moon Trip In Space Cabinet

San Antonio reports Donald G. Farrell a 23 year old airman from the Bronx began a simulated voyage to space at Randolph Air Force Base. He will spend seven days in an experimental space cabinet modeled to mimic conditions a real astronaut would endure on a satellite or lunar flight. If he endures the full test he joins space pioneers, as volunteers previously managed only 24 hours at a stretch.

Khrushchev Might Oust Bulganin In Soviet Vote

State Cop Catches Car at 105 mph on Turnpike

State Police said a Bridgeport man may have set a speed record on the Connecticut Turnpike by clocking 105 mph before being arrested on a reckless driving charge. Trooper James McGrath flagged down Arthur J. Harding, 33, of 1811 North Avenue near the Milford Orange line. Harding to appear in Town Court February 27.

Sikorsky Union Votes For Strike Action

Sikorsky Aircraft union employees at local plants voted 2048 to 14 in favor of strike action if no satisfactory contract is reached by midnight Saturday. The tally, certified by Thomas V. Kaskie, was cast by 2969 workers at Stratford High School gym, with negotiations in Hartford resuming Wednesday and another session set for Thursday.

FBI agents and police arrested three Waterbury youths in a plush Sands hotel suite in Miami Beach after a predawn raid found 336 dollars in cash in a suitcase.
