Stock Market Hits Heaviest Volume Since Mid November

Stocks climbed for the fifth straight session on volume of 9.64 million shares as the Dow edged to 820.54, near the Nov. 16 peak. GM and Chrysler among top gainers, with auto sales forecast for 1967 seen strong. Industrials rose 1.81, utilities up, oils boosted markets.
