Eight Sentenced In U S Gambling Tax Violations
A group of 16 people rounded up last June for federal gambling tax crimes were sentenced in U S District Court by Judge William H Timbers. John Finnel of Milford and Guy Toke DiGirolamo of Nelson Terrace were each sent to three years in prison with a $30,000 fine and 40 percent of government costs. DiGirolamo received five years probation after release. The men plan to appeal.

Two Area Women Fined and Jailed for Gambling Tax Violations
