Raybestos Youth Christmas Party At Stratford High
The eighth annual Raybestos Children's Christmas party runs today from 2 to 4 pm at Stratford High School gym. George Petrus says about 650 children of Raybestos employees will attend with the Tema Frank circus and a novelty act. Santa Claus will arrive by sleigh with gifts to close the event. Committee members include Harold DeLorme Don Beers Wallace Hawley Ruth Sullivan Bill Gay Al Spencer Carl Heinzman Steve Skudlarek John Pekar and Joe Barber.

Court Bars Residence in Stratford Garage
Judge Walter J. Sidor of Common Pleas granted a restraining order preventing Charles Lane from living in a converted two car garage in a Stratford residential zone on Glenwood Avenue. The Town of Stratford sought the injunction after Lane failed to oppose it. Lane had converted the garage to a dwelling in 1949 and was previously convicted and fined by Stratford Town Court for violating the zoning ordinance. the conviction was sustained on appeal to Common Pleas.
