Settlement Reached In Suit Over $600 Bond
Settlement arrived yesterday afternoon before Judge John J Walsh in the Court of Common Pleas. Louis J Schwarz sued to recover a $600 bond alleged to have been signed by Finamia Athanasies of Stratford in satisfaction of an unpaid judgment owed Schwarz by Maurice Schack, a real estate agent. Mrs Athanasies denied placing a mark on the bond in half of her signature. Attorney David Schack testified that Bradesch witnessed the signing, but Bradesch denied being present. Attorney Schack then reversed, saying Bradesch had not witnessed the signature.
