Plans and profile of Federal Aid Project No. 163 known as the Jackson Meridian road arrived at Rankin County court house last Saturday. The 132 page set covers 2032.100 miles of gravel with a 30 foot crowned road and 18 feet of gravel from Jackson to Brandon and 12 feet from Brandon to Pelahatchie. Proposals split by divisions were advertised, with bids sought separately for Jackson Brandon and Brandon Pelahatchie as well as jointly.

Monterey School Opens With Bright Prospects

Raid Saturday Captures Two Stills South of Pearson
