On a six acre cotton test in Rankin County Mississippi farmed by J A Jackson the use of one ton of Blood and Bone complete fertilizer produced 2.5 bales of cotton, while three unfertilized rows yielded 29 pounds. East and west sections produced 162 and 170 pounds respectively, showing the fertilizer’s impact. With $30 invested the return nears $200, underscoring fertilizer value.

Sudden Death of Mr H L Myers Shocks Brandon
Mr H L Myers died suddenly last Tuesday at about two oclock in Brandon after visiting Miss Eunice Washburn to pick up freight. Born January 1 1861 he was sixty two. He married Hexie McPherson in 1882 and had seven children. After her 1910 death he remarried Victoria Rodgers and had seven more. He had long served as a mail carrier and was well liked. Funeral plans were not yet set.
