Confederates to Hold Reunion in Jackson October 17-19
The 32nd Annual Mississippi Division reunion of the United Confederate Veterans will meet in Jackson from October 17 to 19, 1922. Beat Three will hold a North Rankin Fair at Pisgah Consolidated School October 12 1922 with agricultural and livestock exhibits canned goods fancy work antiques and miscellaneous entries. Leesburg Baptists Hold Large County Meeting
The Leesburg Baptist Church hosted the county association gathering with 75 to 100 delegates from about 30 churches totaling around 3,000 members. Since 1893 Rankin County led state organization, and the body will extend sessions and focus on Missions Education and Social Service with an executive committee from each church to plan for next year.

Sheriff Finds Big Shine Still Near Loveless Place
Sheriff Harrison and a prohibition agent raid a Loveless Place area still on Drakes Road. They had trailed Lee Graves and found a 10 gallon milk can two barrels of mash a copper pipe and a charcoal furnace but no liquor. Graves was arrested and brought to town after a second raid on Permeter s store.

The county agent reports an extension to October 15 for nitrate of soda orders and urges immediate purchase.
