Two Trials End in Mistrial and Damages in Circuit Court
The summer term of Circuit Court adjourned with two cases tried against G. & S. LR. R. Miss Ethel Dow minor sued for injuries from a collision near Menhenhall on August 20 last, ending in a mistrial. Mrs Lula Brock sought $50,000 for her husband’s death crossing a railroad at D’Lo last September. verdict awarded her $20,000 and the railroad appealed to the Supreme Court.
