Man killed by flying saw at home near Pearl River bridge
J W Lambert Jr died Friday after a small saw broke during woodwork hurling metal that severed an artery and wounded him in the left shoulder. Witness Hersey Moorehead was knocked back eight feet. Lambert leaves a wife and son Uncle 16, and his parents near Monticello. He ran a blacksmith shop and wood yard on to Pike. Funeral services were held in Monticello. neighbors mourn his loss.

Thirty Arrested in Gambling Gang on Pearl River
