School Bus Overturns Near Melvin No Injuries Reported
One of the Brady Independent School District buses overturned south of Melvin at about 4 30 p m Tuesday. Nine children and the driver Mrs Dickye Moore were aboard. Bumps and bruises were the only injuries. A bee sting caused Mrs Moore to lose control. DPS patrolman David Graves reported the incident.

Isolated tornado hits Brady Lake area tearing trailer house
A tornado struck near Brady Lake about 3:15 p m Tuesday destroying an unoccupied trailer in the Dodge Heights addition and damaging a second trailer owned by E M Red Pearson Brady. A fisherman saw the funnel and a tree was uprooted near Melvin. No injuries were reported.
