Rochelle FFA range team takes second at range contest
The Rochelle FFA range judging team earned second at the annual range management contest held at White & Company Ranch near Mercury. Members Tommy Kidd Arlis Eckert and Bill Price competed under advisor Miers Johnson finishing with 1603 points of 2100, two Rochelle students placing in the top three. Menard won with 1633 points, Rochelle edged by 30 points. The team also received a trophy from the HPC agriculture department.
