County Exhibit Show Opens at National Guard Armory
The fourth annual County Exhibits Show runs Saturday 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday 1 to 5 pm at the National Guard Armory with exhibits from South Side HD Club Sorosis Rochelle HD 4-H East Sweden Ladies Achievement Club and others. A closed circuit TV viewing setup by Charles J Brown of Radio TV Sales & Service Company will let visitors see themselves on TV along with music from his phonographs. Entry space is free and provided on a first come basis. organizers include Chamber of Commerce county home demonstration clubs and the National Guard.

Richard Camargo son of Mr and Mrs Eutimio Camargo of Brady has a full scholarship to study at the Dallas Theater Center affiliated with Baylor University directed by Paul Baker. He has a speaking role in Sister and a walk on part in Julius Caesar. Camargo, now 23, is Brady High School 1957 graduate who studied drama at the University of Texas and dance at Mrs Sescha Kurda’s Academy in Brady.

Father Charged In Incident Involving Daughter
A 42 year old father is jailed in McCulloch County on a reported incident with his 17 year old daughter. A second charge of family mistreatment was filed. Bond for the incident case was denied and the mistreatment bond set at 5000 dollars. The daughter gave birth to a son in September and her new husband faces bigamy charges. Authorities seek custody for the couple’s four younger siblings.

Riders to Play Monday Night at Jubilee Arena
The Heart O' Texas Riders announce another play night Monday at the Jubilee arena with roping and barrel racing planned for included events.
