Waldrip Sunshine Club Meets at Hester Home
The Waldrip Sunshine Club gathered May 21 in Brady at Mrs. Ira Hester house with eight members. Otha Cole led Amazing Grace Green Doyal led the Lord's Prayer readings on the 23rd Psalm during the devotional. The group discussed a nursing home project and each member drew a patient to sponsor. Refreshments were dips chips cakes and frosted orange drinks.

Brady Hospital Auxiliary Attends Texas Convention
Brady Heart of Texas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary sent Ben Dillon Ed Haffner and Miss Ouita Moseley to the 32nd annual Texas Association of Hospital Auxiliaries convention at the Shamrock Hilton in Houston May 18 to 21. Delegates joined 167 auxiliaries and about 1000 attendees. Brady displayed the largest gift shop exhibit selling 141 dollars in items.

Pence Families Get-Together Last Weekend
The annual Pence family reunion for descendants of Deroy and wife Deroy Pence was held yesterday at the Frank Corder cabin on the Brownwood Highway. Rain confined activities to the cabin as attendees enjoyed warm visits by the fireplace with many Brady residents and relatives from Fort Worth Midland Marshall and Oklahoma listed among guests.
